About the Authors

Kishore Kulkarni person
Kishore G. Kulkarni is the Distinguished Professor of Economics at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He completed his B.A. and M.A. degrees with top ranks from the University of Poona, India. He finished his M.A. and Ph.D. from University of Pittsburgh in 1982. He has been teaching Principles of Economics classes for over 4 decades with such enthusiasm that makes his classes entertaining, exciting and rewarding. Over the years he was given Extraordinary Service to the College, Distinguished Service to the College, Outstanding Researcher/Scholar, Outstanding Teacher and Distinguished Professor awards. He has published 8 other books and 115 journal articles. Professor Kulkarni served on the Semester at Sea in 1994, and has made numerous lecture tours all over the world.
Edwin Dolan person
Edwin G. Dolan, economist and educator, holds a PhD from Yale University. Early in his career, he was a member of the economics faculty at Dartmouth College, the University of Chicago, and George Mason University. From 1990 to 2013, he taught at a number of schools in Europe, including the American Institute of Business and Economics in Moscow, Central European University in Budapest, the University of Economics in Prague, and the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Since 2017, he has been a Senior Fellow at Niskanen Center, a think tank in Washington, DC.
