About the Author

R.H. Ettinger person
Dr. R. H. Ettinger is a professor of psychology at Eastern Oregon University. His research focuses on psychopharmacology and includes investigations of the neural mechanisms underlying feeding and addiction. Notably, his research has led to the development of an anticocaine antibody and the understanding of the role of Pavlovian conditioning in drug tolerance and addiction. In addition to this textbook, Ettinger is the author of a textbook on psychopharmacology. In addition to his research and writing, he is an avid cyclist and cross-country skier, and he enjoys flying his private airplane and providing instrument instruction to other pilots.
