LMS Integration

BVT offers three ways to integrate our eBooks and online classroom into your Learning Management System or LMS (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, D2L, etc.).

1. Basic Web Link (with Instant Access)

With this option, you simply paste a courtesy web link and instructions in your LMS, and your students create an account at our wesite, and access their materials there. You can do this with or without out Instant Access program.

2. LTI Link (with Instant Access)

With this option, we can helkp you set up an LTI link for your students to access our platform. LTI stands for Learning Tool Interoperability, an initiative from the IMS Global Learning Consortium which standardizes most LMS integrations in the US. This can also be called a "single-sign-on" link, as your students only need to sign into their LMS account once, and they can access our platform without a second sign-on required for our site. They would, however, need to create a store account with us if they want to purchase from us directly.

3. Full LMS Integration

With this option, your LMS and our platform can communicate directly. The greatest benefit of this is that as students complete their assessments on our platform, the grades can be pushed directly into your LMS gradebook, minimizing the work you need to do at the end of the semester. An obvious benefit of this is that your students will be able to monitor their overall grade progress within the LMS gradebook.
