Medical Terminology: A Real-World Approach

First Edition   Colbert, Pierce, © 2023, 680 pages

Medical Terminology is a critical foundation course for all health care professionals. You are indeed learning a new language and, in essence, beginning to immerse yourself in the culture and organization of health care. That is why we have taken a different approach—a real-world approach. We have written this as an immersive journey where the student begins with a visit to their primary care physician and then experiences medical terminology from a personalized tour of the various specialties and departments within the health care profession.
